- Colbert is so very obviously joking & part of his act is that he's kind of a jerk. In his act, and you don't have to like his style of comedy, but I thunk you do have to recoginze that Colbert in real life is a very giving man.

- Count me in as one of the mourners of this wonderful publication. There was more content in Gormat thatn in most magazines, Ruth Reichel edditorial notes were always a delight & the recepies were a wonderment.

- I'm a bartender in Illinois, and I know that not only has the business suffered, my pocket has suffered since the smoking ban. One of the only reasons we are still alive is because we are an older bar and there is no mortgage on our building...We don't have the bills some other 's do.

- Tipping certainly isn't a god-given right, and if you have had bad service I don't believe that it is the managements fault if a server/bartender isn't doing their job.
